Hey guys,
I miss you all so much! A few of the things that happened this week: 1) I am learning the language so fast. I am speaking with the Latinos every day at lunch. It is super hard but they are super friendly and one of them is a roboticist like me!He used an arduino to set up a pedal system on a go cart that he just made. I am also learning so much about the gospel. Yesterday I learned that the Spirit Shouldn}t have to prompt me before I do something. I do what I need to do, and he will guide my steps as I Take them.
My teacher Hermana Mujica is literally one of the nicest human beings ever. She likes to cook, and so I gave her my chocolate chip cookie recipie and some of my chocolate chips, and asked her to make me and the class  some. She did, and although they were a little hard, they were a great reminder of home! (because lots of the Peruvian desserts are strange)  But afterwards, the whole class was a little hyper (oops)
It honestly took some getting used too, but now I can say that Ive settled in, and am happy to be here at the CCM. I can}t wait to get into the mission field!!!!
I love you all very much and miss you a lot. You are in my prayers and in my heart
give sasha some love for me
Seth

Hey you guys,
I just wanted to send you an update on how Ive been. These spanish keyboards are a little bit different and Im running on a time limit so Bear with me.... I am doing fine here in the Lima Peru MTC. The spanish translation of MTC is CCM (dont ask me why) and it is awesome! I am making tons of friends, some of them native, and there is always some place to be and something to do. The food is great, the people are great, my spanish is horrible, but I am learning lots. My compainon is awesome, and is also a gospel genius so when we teach it is a great thing to have him around. I am learning so much about spanish and about the gospel it is hard to wrap my head around it. Anyway, I only have a little bit of time left (I only get to email once a week) so dont be afraid to email me back in a seperate string, but I probalby wont be able to respond until next week. so for now,
Adios,
Elder Golsby

9/26/2017 Hey guys, I can´t believe that I´ve already been in the CCM for three weeks. I ahve two new investigators now, and I am learning lots of Spanish, (enough to hang with the Latinos with lots of "más lento por favor" and "repite por favor" ) Haha I already sent you my flag story, but among other things that have happened, my district has started singing called to serve in Spanish every time a teacher says "listos", every time we speak English and a teacher catches us we have to do pushups, so there were a ferw elders who ended up playing a game to see if they could get away with saying English words in class without having to do puchups. SO... when it was dead silent in class, I said "Pen" super loud... we couldn´t stop laughing when I got away with it. and aparently I laugh with my tounge out... lol I am being obedient, but having a little bit of fun aswell :)  As I think about it, it may not have been the best thing to do, but ...
9/6/2017 Hola! It was a long flight and I have a lot to talk about and little time to do it in. I am doing good, I got in this morning at 3 and unpacked went to sleep and woke up at 830. Its going to take some adjusting to Lima but I think I will be alright. I miss all of you guys very much. Lima is like North Las Vegas with less Mexicans and more Peruvians. The air is so moist but the weather is beautiful. My time is up. I will email you with more information later. Love, Seth Goolsby
